APRIL 12, 2019: Why do we fertilize the lawn to make the grass grow,

then complain about having to mow it?

APRIL 13, 2019: Went to lunch with friends today and fought over the tab.

Nobody wanted to pay it.

APRIL 14, 2019: I miss my grandchildren who live out of state.

Hugging the I Pad is just not the same.

APRIL 15, 2019: There are days when I wish I could retire.

Then I remember, I’ve grown accustomed to food and a roof over my head.

APRIL 16, 2019: My grandson, age five, just got his first library card!

In a blink, it will be a driver’s license. Sometimes I hate that time flies.

APRIL 17, 2019: Today is “National Do No Housework Day”.

Wonder if we could campaign to make that a whole week.

APRIL 18, 2019: The birds woke me up this morning, chirping happiness.

We should take lessons from them on our grumpy days.

APRIL 19: I sent my new book off to my publisher today.

I have the same scared feeling I had when my baby went off to kindergarten.

APRIL 20: My mother passed away in April, six years ago.

Wish she was here today to color Easter eggs with me.

APRIL 21: All the church parking lots were overflowing this morning at 11 a.m.

All the local restaurants were overflowing at 12:05 with the Easter lunch bunch.
