MAY 11, 2019: I think…line dancing was started by a group of women waiting outside a public bathroom.
MAY 12, 2019: My daughter and I spent Mother’s Day giggling, cleaning out my kitchen cabinets, and loading her van with the rejects. BEST M. DAY EVER!
MAY 13, 2019: Went to see a heart-warming movie today, called, “Poms” about women in a retirement center who start a cheerleading squad. Why not!
MAY 14, 2019: I asked my Mary Kay consultants to come to our training meeting without their make-up. We looked like the ghost squad.
MAY 15, 2019: Some days it’s hard to remain upbeat in the face of bad things happening in the world around us. If you can’t find the sunshine, BE the sunshine.
MAY 16, 2019: It’s time to buy a new I-Phone. I can’t decide which room of furniture to sell to pay for it.
MAY 17, 2019: Attended the Poetry Society of VA Festival. Looked around the room at the canes, walkers, and gray heads and decided age only matters if you’re cheese.
MAY 18, 2019: Woke up this morning thinking it was Friday and a work day. JOY, JOY, when I realized it was Saturday and I could stay in bed.
MAY 19, 2019: The body shop repaired the damage to my car caused by a hit and run driver. Got home and found new scratches caused by the mechanics. *&%#*#
MAY 20, 2019: Went to lunch today and wasn’t happy with my menu selection. Should be a calorie refund for things that don’t taste as good as we expect.
